1. How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information

Account Registration and Login

Account Registration: When you create a Snapmaker account, we collect necessary information such as your mobile number, verification code, username, and password.

Account Login: You may log in with your mobile number, or use third-party platform accounts (e.g., WeChat, Google, Apple ID).

Profile Management: You may optionally provide profile picture, region, gender, nickname, social media links, username, biography, etc.

Products and Services

3D Model Publishing & Content Review: We collect model descriptions, images, licenses, print configurations when you upload models. Content is reviewed through automated and manual processes.

Content Search & Interaction: We collect search keywords, history, and interaction data (follows, likes, favorites, comments, shares, downloads).

Model Download/Print: Printer binding requires device info, application info, and location. For slicing and remote printing, we forward G-code files, configurations, and print settings. We do not collect model files in LAN mode, via SD card, or internal storage.

Live Camera: We collect images/video from the printer's internal camera for remote monitoring.

Diagnostics: We collect device settings, performance data, logs, error reports for troubleshooting.

Personalized Recommendations: Based on your preferences, we may provide personalized model recommendations. You can disable this at any time.

Notifications: Includes user-configured notifications, system notifications, and operational notifications.

Smart Network Configuration: Requires location data, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.

Customer Support: We collect your inquiry details, device info, logs, images/videos, G-code/3mf files for support tickets.

Purchases: We collect name, phone, email, shipping address, ID number, and payment account info for order fulfillment.

Product Improvement: With your opt-in, we collect usage data for analytics. You can opt out anytime.

Security & Risk Control: We collect device info and logs to assess account risk and prevent fraud.

2. Device Permissions

When you install Snapmaker APP, we request device permissions to support features. Closable permissions include:

Storage/Photos (STORAGE): Upload/update avatar, comments with images/video. Can be disabled.

Camera (CAMERA): Set/update avatar, photo management, image saving, video recording, scanning. Can be disabled.

Location (LOCATION): Smart device network configuration. Can be disabled.

Notifications (NOTIFICATION): Push notifications. Can be disabled.

Network (INTERNET): Internet access, device network configuration. Can be disabled.

Bluetooth (BLUETOOTH): Bluetooth device network configuration. Can be disabled.

3. How We Share, Transfer, and Disclose Your Personal Information

We may share your order information, account information, device information, and location information with partners and third parties to ensure the services provided to you are completed smoothly. However, we will only share your personal information for lawful, legitimate, necessary, specific, and explicit purposes, and only the personal information necessary to provide the services.

4. Your Rights

You have the right to manage your personal information and exercise your data protection rights, including accessing, correcting, supplementing, copying, transferring, deleting your personal information, changing the scope of your authorized consent or withdrawing consent, canceling your account, and exercising statutory next-of-kin rights. We provide convenient personal information management features within our products and services.

5. Data Storage and Cross-Border Transfer

In principle, personal information collected and generated during our operations within mainland China is stored in data centers in mainland China. If we need to transfer your personal information overseas, we will inform you in advance, obtain your separate consent, and fulfill the obligations related to cross-border personal information transfer as required by applicable laws and regulations. 6. Children's Privacy

Our products and services are primarily intended for adults. If you are a minor under the age of 18, please read this policy with your guardian and use our services with guardian consent.
